TREMBLING BELLS – SINGLE REVIEW

Trembling Bells – Christ’s Entry in to Govan (Tin Angel Records)
Trembling Bells - Christ's Entry in to Govan

Release Date: Out Now

Well, this is a bit different. Glasgow’s Trembling Bells are back with a new single, the ambitiously titled ‘Christ’s Entry in to Govan’ and it’s a cleansing piece of music in a often over produced world full of noise. Gentle, rolling 60s inspired guitar are joined by Mama’s and Papa’s meets the Carpenters vocals that instantly transport you to Haight Ashbury with a flower in your hair. You can feel your body unwinding and filling with a sense of pure joy that is met only by the fun of the video that sees our heroes strolling around the British countryside in some pretty retro garb. I can only recommend that you pop this on during the next sunny morning and let it wash over you like a summer breeze.

6th April – New Continental, Preston
10th April – The Tine at the Coal Vaults, Coventry
