SAINT SISTER – SINGLE REVIEW

Saint Sister – Causing Trouble
Saint Sister - Causing Trouble

Release Date: Out Now

Sonically gorgeous Irish duo Saint Sister are back with new single ‘Causing Trouble’ and it is a thing of understated beauty which is, let’s face it, the best kind of beauty. The foundations are built on a slow, clicky processed beat and then embellished with some sumptuous rippling melodies and a gently droning bass tone. Throw in the tightly intertwined vocal harmonies of Gemma Doherty and Morgan MacIntyre and you’ve got something worth paying a lot of attention to. Think Wildwood Kin with some chilled-out production from Moby or Beth Orton guesting with Portishead on a track destined for the next Daniel Day-Lewis film. I can’t overstate how utterly gorgeous this is or how much you need to try to catch this pair on their current tour, really I can’t. I’ve tried. And failed.
