THE BOTTOM LINE – SINGLE REVIEW

The Bottom Line – When I Come Around
The Bottom Line - When I Come Around

Release Date: Out Now

Now, first things first, this is not a cover of the Green Day classic, OK? Which is a little surprising considering London four-piece are technically a pop-punk outfit so it seems a little close to the bone. However, ‘When I Come Around’ (by The Bottom Line) is actually an acoustic driven piece of pop-punk influenced balladeering with the likes of the Ataris and, well, Green Day identifiable in the melodies. It’s impassioned, melodic and perfectly radio friendly but I don’t get the impression this particularly indicative of the band’s true style. One to keep half an ear one though and definitely ready for the US market.
