UNDERGROUND OCEAN - SINGLE REVIEW

Underground Ocean - I See Through You
Underground Ocean - I See Through You

Release Date: Out Now

If you're after a bit of punchy, intense rock'n'roll with a gravelly edge then Worcester's Underground Ocean might just be the band for you. New single 'I See Through You' fits nicely in that part of the record shop that looks after Feeder, Stereophonics and the Manic Street Preachers with the drums nudging things along nicely and a barrage of guitars coming at you, wave after wave. The vocals of front man Stuart McDonnell are rough and ready which fits the music but as melodies go it's fairly forgettable so would be more suited to being an album track than a single. Still, plenty of intensity and a tight sound so there is plenty of grounds for optimism.
