Cornish lotharios Lost Dawn are
back with a new single and a select few dates in their home county over the
summer. 'Electrify' is a digital only release to whet our appetites and moisten
our gussets as the summer reaches its soggy climax. Scuzzy, fuzzy guitars
stumble around a house party fuelled by thudding drums and a sense of mischief
that is infectious. Elements of indie, glam, punk-pop and a sense of the
psychedelic all intertwine wonderfully and it's all topped off with a lo-fi,
bonkers video that looks as though it was as much fun to make as it is to
watch. This isn't the best track these guys have ever released but it's fun,
infectious and just a precursor to bigger things to come in the Autumn. Much
bigger things.
