Phonographics have a hotly anticipated new single coming out for your enjoyment.
You want some? Well alright. 'Too Alike' is a dreamy, shuffling piece of indie
with a sparse melody and downbeat vocals. With a little bit of the Smiths and
New Order mixed in with some Sebadoh and Lemonheads, this is introspective
stuff with an element of shoegaze about it but there is still an uplifting
quality to the gently relentless guitar melodies. This is one of those songs
that improves with repeated listens and might be an acquired taste but it's a
taste worth acquiring.
