South Shield lass Brooke Bentham is a straight down the
line, no messin', no foolin' Folk singer and it's a breath of fresh air. The 18
year old has a single coming our way by the end of the month in the shape of
'We'll Be Ghosts' and it is heart stoppingly gorgeous. The delicately picked
notes of Bentham's electric guitar provides a rich, warm bed for her soft
vocals to sprawl out over in the coldest part of the night. There's a maturity
and pure beauty to this song that, I hope, signals more to come from an artist
with time and talent on her side. A real treat.
