Inspades are an unapologetic metal
trio from York (the old one, not the New one) and they have a new single in the
metallically moulded shape of 'Deadlines'. Straight from the off you can sense
that these guys are inspired by our US cousins with big, snarling, crunching
riffs and drums that pound like a jack hammer on an oil drum. There is
something hugely satisfying about the guitar sounds and vocals that have that
gruff metal feel without feeling the need to be unintelligibly shouty or throat
bursting. Inspades create classy metal that will appeal to men of a certain age
and awkward teenagers, for sure, but also to those who like something meaty
behind their rock.
